This policy explains the information we collect and how it is used to operate MyHomeProEstimate.com.
1. Information we collect
We collect account and contact information, Home Pro business and vetting details, project descriptions, addresses, photos, optional voice messages, estimates, private messages, hiring and review activity, billing status, support requests and technical usage information.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, match projects, operate listings and subscriptions, process notifications, prevent fraud, provide support, enforce policies, maintain security and improve the service.
3. How information is shared
Project details are shared with the Home Pros a homeowner selects. Contact details may be revealed through the hiring workflow. Public Home Pro profiles display approved business information, portfolio material and eligible reviews. We also share necessary information with service providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, email or SMS providers and storage providers.
4. Payments
Stripe processes payment details. MyHomeProEstimate stores customer, subscription and billing-status references but does not store full bank-account or card numbers.
5. Voice messages and uploads
Project recordings and uploads are used to communicate project details to selected Home Pros. Voice messages may be deleted after playback or under the site’s retention process, although limited records may remain temporarily in backups or logs.
6. Choices and retention
Users can update account information and notification preferences from their account. We retain information while needed to provide the service, keep required billing and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with law.
7. Analytics and advertising measurement
If a visitor allows analytics, Google Analytics may collect device, browser, approximate location, referral, campaign and website-interaction information so we can understand site use and advertising performance. We do not intentionally send project descriptions, street addresses, voice messages, private messages or payment-card information to Google Analytics. Visitors may decline analytics in the preference notice. The choice is stored in the browser and can be reset by clearing this site’s browser data.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should use a unique password and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
9. Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Updates
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
